What is ETT?

ETT means Cleared out Tube Transport. ETT could be the fastest and a lot useful way to travel. This makes use of recognized methods, pieces, along with technology. The trademarked technique functions getting suzanne somers diet rid of virtually all chaffing usually connected with travel. 3 standard embodiments range from: low tech lower speed systems with regard to neighborhood utilize from rates down below 2 hundred mph; in order to high plaque attack tech systems for continental and overseas transfer approximately 4,1000 miles-per-hour or higher. For higher detail notice technologies segment.

Who will use ETT?

Exactly like teaches, initial ETT use will likely be regarding shipment, and also together higher make use of tracks involving journey. Once verified, Argan oil development will swiftly propagate. Since the www.kitewatch.com system is efficient within energy and also materials use, high-speed travel is going to be affordable, along with lasting. Eventually, everybody in the globe may use it.

Who’s likely to function ETT?

With regard to monetary procedure, each company and general public procedure is slim ts inspired from the non-exclusive, low priced certification prepare. Your licenses helps bring about each cohesiveness along with competition.

Bodily procedure with the strategy is simply by automatic computer management. The affiliate marketing sole feedback and also expertise essential are the capability to selected and also type in a new desired destination.

When am i allowed to utilize ETT?

Around 1900 under 1 percent with the population saw a vehicle. By 1935 ninety five per Atlanta bankruptcy attorney cent of horse and buggy travel had been swapped out by simply automotive means. People HGH Energizer are generally a smaller amount resistant to change compared to they in which a millennium back. Now individuals demand modify, when clear advantages are usually observed. If you, the ones you already know, offer the ETT method, (even though it is showing other people regarding it), www.youplusus.net we might most appreciate inexpensive entire world take a trip inside of Decade.

How considerably will it price to experience?

The energy and material me is suprisingly low, and also the durability of the ingredients right to bare legs is extremely good; and so the initial, along with running charge will probably be a lot less than latest ways of take a trip (the speed might be Xtreme NO less than a penny every traveler distance). Some licensees believe that price is going to be thus lower that promoting may pay for the majority of take a trip, just like its smart for Tv set, reely Web. Depending upon what you are, marketers could actually pay you to visit while you’re watching their presentation! The cost depends on numerous factors such as the design pace, the actual topography, and the desire.

Construction:

Who is going to develop this? People that licence the engineering and work together with each other can create ETT techniques. Your school of thought is surely an open up system (like Red hat), with chaordic regulations (such as Charge plastic card support) exactly where improvements are made by many people collaborators fitting in with achieve good benefits, nevertheless the collaborators possess a mechanism so you can get paid out for the level of their factor. People which now operate in virtually any discipline may construct parts, or even supply services that will make the particular ETT program probable. vince delmonte Even however the majority of don’t understand that, everyone has underutilized, special expertise as well as possessions that might be used Baby Bullet to assist reveal the particular ETT program. All of the abilities, generation capability, resources, as well as labor pool needed to create the device can be found Silk n Sensepil right now. By buying a life-time ETT licence for a hundred or so bucks, you can competitively offer and bid on ETT related operate. Max Burn Since one inch a few bucks invested are allocated to transportation, there is a incredible market place available for the hidden skills or perhaps property. The licensee web page with online world.et3.web could be the market place for skills and assets associated with ETT tasks.

When can the prototype end up being built?

Prototypes, as well as production components its the person techniques employed by ETT can be found at this time. These parts And facilities Per materials and so on. will likely be almost put together in to an ETT system over the Internet. As the true 21 day fast mass muscle building review components are assembled virtually, programs and also alliances are shaped pertaining to real development. A Licensee acts based on the following summarize to include the parts they are able to provide:

Look over the ETT technology data files and figure out the classification for your abilities, portion, content, asset, or assistance. (If the group does not exist, suggest 1)

Post your current licensee details and what you present And need; as well as supply steer times along with prices, inside correct varieties.

Look for jobs you have an interest throughout, submit provides / or even communicate wants.

Contact Licensees that present the thing you need as well as need everything you offer; for you to work about assemblies, as well as figure out standards and many others.

When all required types are usually represented by simply licensees, bid invariably winners start to function.

At first it’s likely which a little demo program is going to be developed initial.

Where will the first end up being created?

Economics along with nation-wide politics should come in to enjoy to determine the best position for the 1st programs. Attractive tracks will be in between key towns, more than unpopulated level, dry ground, beneath the actual latitudes in which the soil stops. (Of india along with China are the many encouraging spots regarding original system rendering).

What is the pipe crafted from?

The particular hoses can be made of the resilient chemical that’s capable of holding vacuum pressure. Every path will have unique needs in accordance with local ailments as well as economics. A number of achievable components incorporate but aren’t limited to: Sealed concrete, glazed earthenware, steel, metal, abs plastic, and plastics.

How a lot could it price?

Given that old fashioned gentleman very first developed a dugout raft, the actual requirement for transport enhancements has grown. Transportation costs are around 14% on the planet overall economy. The speed involving growth of transportation will be double the amount fee involving growth of the planet overall economy. In developed countries they have grown to 20% or one billion money per year in america. Experts have got approximated that the fees regarding ETT carry will probably be a lot less when compared with current systems. The right-of-way demands are around 5% of your road interstate. The types of materials employ regarding covers can below one tenth. The elements will have a much higher existence, additional decreasing charges. A detailed analysis prepaired within 2004 computed the cost of the 350mph system being about $2million / mile.

Will the actual tube end up being under floor or higher soil?

Equally underground and also previously mentioned soil techniques will be constructed, in accordance with neighborhood problems and financial specifications.

How lots of people fit into a new tablet?

Tablets A couple of ft across and also 8-10 foot prolonged could be useful for a single person laying. Capsules may be made sufficient to match a new tour bus. Financial aspects will certainly influence tablet dimensions, and also each of our research indicates the very best supplement dimension has already been proven through the best automobile in the world — the automobile. The typical auto holds 4-6 individuals, or even Eight hundred to be able to Nine hundred weight of payload. A 51″ (One.3m) dimension pill Of sixteen ft lengthy can cater to Some people. This will be estimated to become the top compromise involving energy and price.

How large are the hoses?

Pontoons just one ft . in diameter might have employ regarding snail mail as well as small packages. Hoses 20 ft in diameter might support a new shuttle. It is estimated that any 5 foot (One particular.5m) size pipe can cater to nearly all carry wants.

Isn’t mail or even package deal transportation a fantastic place to start?

Yes, the price along with responsibility would be minimal, and also lifestyle help not needed. Lessons learned might profit massive use.

Will the us government be engaged?

Of course, Large-scale projects will certainly at the very least need government cohesiveness. We the people will be the government. In free of charge international locations, calls for of those will certainly make sure entire government cooperation. Wouldn’t anyone prefer a candidate whom honestly supports ETT? International programs will need the actual sanction from the governments included. It is predicted how the 1st techniques in america will be designed with individual expense, since there are hardly any situations the place that the govt provides loaned innovative travel invention.

Physiological consequences:

Can people deal with the makes associated with going which quick? Only proceeding rapidly has no effect on the skin. Astronauts within orbit vacation more rapidly compared to Twenty,Thousand MPH. The body system can accept 8g involving acceleration or maybe more in short intervals. Top energy dragsters are equipped for regarding 4g acceleration. Many roller coasters develop 3 grams involving speeding. Most cars generate nearly 1g below highest stopping. If velocity is restricted in order to 1g, most of the people will not encounter virtually any distress. Time traveling estimations believe no more than 1g associated with drive, along with a leading velocity of four,500 Miles per hour .

How can easily individuals take in air?

Life-support piece of equipment is really a well toned field. Area channels inside orbit allow astronauts for you to take in air for several weeks, although the supplement is in the close to vacuum. Submarines have been in existence for more than a hundred years, modern day sub sandwiches can stay submerged for over a calendar month. The actual systems utilized in Evacuated Tv Carry will be a lot less demanding. Only 2-3 hrs (in addition stocks) of life-support is required.

Won’t men and women really feel claustrophobia?

Many people are usually unreasonably frightened of enclosed spots. The amount of room for each voyager exceeds those of aircraft along with luxurious autos. Reclined seats and also “virtual window” demonstrates let the simulation regarding whichever environment your driver prefers; or TV, movies, video games, and so on. may be shown to supply diversion coming from mental poison.

What if someone else receives sick?

Considering that ETT will be the quickest technique of travel, it will likely be preferred approach to transportation folks with regard to medical causes. Terminals will probably be built with EMT amenities and. A key could possibly be pushed when someone is within problems via unexpected sickness. Heart devices in addition transmission a health care emergency. The particular signal leads to the particular tablet to get diverted to the local Emergency medical technician facility. In case there is a false alarm system, anyone suggesting your false security alarm may be recharged a fine for you to suppress incorrect use.

Safety:

How are you affected in case you stop by the actual conduit? Emergency avoid hatches tend to be spots every single kilometer approximately down the tube. In the unusual function associated with stoppage in the tube, your supplements will probably be given to the closest break free hatch.

What in the event the brakes fall short?

The particular braking system will be computerized. It doesn’t depend upon human handle. The various are usually susceptible to constant automatic assessment and changed before unacceptable put on occurs. Multiple redundant back up stopping will be stimulated in the event that any failure occur in the key braking system. Compared with cars, teaches and airplanes, disappointment involving ETT stopping systems are usually less likely.

What concerning terrorists?

Despite the fact that unusual, works associated with terrorism arise. Aircraft, motorboats, along with autos tend to be popular targets because the enemy can use the vehicle to escape prognosis, along with elude stress. Mathematically, the actual loss of life fee because of terrorism is really a lot under deaths brought on by owner problem, weather, and mechanical downfalls. High stability, surveillance, and also swift worry of thinks decrease deficits due to terrorism. Much more restrictive safety may be possible with all the ETT program when compared with may be possible with aircraft, motorboats, as well as auto.

Competition:

May the particular acrylic organizations withstand ETT? ETT technique building requires large amounts regarding plastics. If demand for transport gas is diminished, essential oil businesses can alter existing refineries to fabricate plastics from reduced charge, while maintaining income. Low price plastic-type material developing goods will replace the application of solid wood inside building development. Oil firms realize that acrylic reserves are restricted. When ETT will become the actual travel method of choice; important gas means may be used and also recycled for several years rather than becoming become smog by simply automobiles. This may possess a helpful influence on the planet. Oil businesses will likely be viewed as protectors from the jungles, as opposed to contributing factors to be able to pollution. It will also expand just how long acrylic businesses may make money from acknowledged oil stores.

What can you perform in regards to the underemployed truckers?

A very important factor in daily life is certain, that’s as much as possible adjust. Some take hold of adjust other folks resist. For occasion many people even now plantation with horse along with lorry. Some men and women discover additional skills while quick as you possibly can. They have the ability to take advantage of the truth that numerous fight inevitable adjust.

Will the airplane and automobile producers make an effort to stop ETT?

Maybe many will, many will know that they may be within the travelling company, and make use of under-used generation amenities to make ETT parts. Much similar to the early 1900′s any time Fisher (instructor performs) turned for you to constructing car bodies while push chair demand dropped. Other organizations just weren’t thus smart.

Company functions:

Can you sell inventory?
The business isn’t offering share to the general public. The firm is utilizing share to pay its licensees that carry out necessary capabilities pertaining to startup company and recurring operations. The compensatory stocks are usually restricted and could ‘t be marketed or even utilized in the population. Any selling regarding investment (in the event that any kind of) is going to be personal placement to licensees regarding et3.com Corporation. whom fulfill the Smoke Assist Approved Trader requirements defined by your Securities and exchange commission.

When do you think you’re proceeding general public?

A new public providing of stock is costly. Often the additional expense and also reporting hampers ale the company to execute its key functions. A core beliefs if your firm may be the minimization of unproductive overhead to keep licence expense as small as possible. The organization Shake Weight et3.com Inc. will go general public provided that it is a key to gratifying it’s mission.

How may a new Licensee revenue?

You can find a few basic methods the et3.com Licensee helps make money:

Use your engineering to build any a part of a great ETT technique, capitalizing from the development, as well as revealing inside revenues generated simply by operating any completed method.

Contribute rational residence (Ip address) associated with ETT, on the et3.com engineering swimming, and share with royals earnings created through Licensees participating in ETT tasks, as that Internet protocol is utilized.

Carry out providers for et3.org Corporation. in exchange for share; therefore discussing in a vips income allocated to Magic Mesh shareholders, along with the shares may grow in price along with successful ETT implementations.

How is really a Permit purchased?

Read along with comprehend all terms of the et3.net Licenses Contract.

Fill your license application, saying yes to everyone phrases by producing, deciding upon, and also sending in the form as well as other required paperwork.

Pay the one moment license fee associated with $100.

Receive Give associated with License published on websites on popularity. (the charge will be returned if permit program is turned down). Licenses apps are only turned down in the event the customer ceases to meet the requirements, as well as does not stick to instructions

It had to take something really special to get Andrew Stanton to make the jump from animated films to live action. The man best known for his work on “Wall-E,” “Finding Nemo” and “A Bug’s Life” makes his debut as a (mostly) live-action director with “John Carter,” out March 9. It’s a pretty big change from what fans are used to seeing from him, and that’s because “John Carter” has been something of a passion project for him.

Stanton recently sat down with MTV News to talk about the upcoming release of the movie. It’s been a project that has been floating around Hollywood for a while now, as Edgar Rice Burroughs’s “Barsoom” series has been the inspiration for many other science fiction projects — like “Star Wars” and “Flash Gordon” — and deserved to get the big screen treatment as well. Stanton said that he felt that we are finally at a point when Hollywood is capable of doing John Carter’s story justice, and that is why he pushed to get the movie made now.

“The only reason that I’m attached to this thing and it got on to the screen is because of the fandom,” Stanton explained. “It was not a career move, it was not a filmmaker choice. If it takes my influence with Disney from other things to convince them this is a property that needs to get on to the screen, then fine, I’ll use it.”

Earlier I wrote that the movie was “mostly” live-action because it’s actually very CGI-heavy. From the Mars setting with its alien inhabitants to the giant beasts seen in some of the promotion for the film, Stanton said he had to use every dollar of his reported $250 million budget. And, if he’s to be believed, it’s well worth it.

“I think once you see the film, you’ll realize how big of a budget it is, it’s all on that screen. It’s a fully realized world with tons of history, tons of cities and characters and cultural things, and fantastical ideas. And all of them are part of what makes it attractive in the books, in the 11 books, and there’s just nothing cheap about it,” Stanton said.

He added, “I just don’t think technology could even do what you want to have put on the screen for most of the time Hollywood’s been around, and it’s only recently that you could possibly fit the economics of it into a box.”

Nine films are nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards this year, begging the question: who deserved a tenth spot on that list? “Oscars 2012: 10 Spot” answers that question, as the MTV Movies team highlights some of 2011′s greatest films and argues why they deserved a nod as the tenth Best Picture nominee.

Front and center at the 2012 Oscars is a heartbreaking film ? one nominated in five categories, including Best Picture and Best Actor ? about a family reeling from the tragic loss of its matriarch. The father is at a loss as to how to pull his children ? the elder acting up, the younger not quite mature enough to grasp the enormity of unfolding events ? up from the depths of grief and move them toward something resembling a new normal. The patriarch’s eventual solution? A wild adventure. The result? A family learning, at times happily and at times with tears, to be whole again.

I’m talking, of course, about “The Descendants.” Here’s the thing: there was a second film this past year that followed a largely similar story arc (far more successfully, which is to say far more gut-wrenchingly and believably) and yet it hasn’t factored at all into awards-season chatter. The film in question is “We Bought a Zoo,” and it absolutely deserves a Best Picture nomination.

Co-writer/director Cameron Crowe pulls off the impressive trick of spinning what could have easily devolved into a maudlin cryfest into an affecting film about loss and trial-and-error recovery. Matt Damon plays Benjamin Mee, a man who recently lost his wife to cancer. His son has just been expelled from school, and if it weren’t for the help of his precocious 7-year-old daughter, he might not be able to get his kids dressed and their lunches packed each morning. Things are not going well. A change is needed. And so, just like the true story on which the film is based, Benjamin hauls his family away from town and into a new house ? one that just so happens to be planted in a deteriorating zoo.

Listen, I can tick off all the ways this movie is one of my favorites of the year. Damon gives perhaps his most mature, fully developed performance to date. The supporting cast is richly drawn and there are a whole lot of laughs throughout. The soundtrack, like all those in Crowe’s films, rules. What I’ve really been thinking about recently, though, is why “Zoo” didn’t pop this awards-season while “Descendants,” which struck me as phony and featuring a loathsome egomaniac of a main character (albeit one portrayed ably by George Clooney), has become an Oscar sweetheart.

Do the old white guys who comprise the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences not like Crowe? Well, they have nominated him three times in the past, and he won once for his “Almost Famous” screenplay. Do voters believe movies featuring a colorful cast of animals are just a little too Disney? Do they have a selective aversion to earnest films, favoring something unbearably schmaltzy (Best Picture nominee “Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close”) over the sweetness and realness and movie magic-tinged verve of “Zoo”?

Silly questions, all. There’s ultimately no parsing the behind-the-scenes scheming and in-front-of-the-buffet-table glad-handing that separates an Oscar darling from an Oscar never-was. So screw it. I’ll just look forward to the arrival of “We Bought a Zoo” on DVD in April.

Some artists, like Adele, release albums that are pure Grammy catnip thanks to instant-classic sounds that resonate with the Recording Academy’s way-back contingent. Then there’s Lady Gaga.

She’s been a bridesmaid twice for Album of the Year at the Grammys, losing out on her first two releases. But with her third bid on Sunday, for Born This Way, Gaga appears to have made the kind of career-defining, big-idea album that Grammy voters could not deny.

It had all the things the Academy loves in an Album of the Year nominee: ambition, deeply personal tracks that provide a glimpse at the artist’s psyche, bold musical explorations, strong sales and chance to prove that they’re hip enough to get what the kids are listening to. (Or, in some cases, a new album by Steely Dan.)

And, indeed, BTW did have it all, from the jackhammer electronica of “Marry the Night” to the tango-lite grooves of “Americano,” the techno attack of “Heavy Metal Lover,” hints of biography in “Hair,” the lighter-raising ballads in “Yoü and I” and “The Edge of Glory” and, of course, the title track, which served as both a dance-floor phenomenon and an empowerment anthem for the ages.

The album, one of the most anticipated of 2011, not only crashed the charts with stellar sales figures of more than one million in its first week, but it also managed to once again bend the will of the music-buying public to meet her quirky, unpredictable muse. Gaga promised her fans that she was pouring everything she had into the disc and when it arrived, complete with a series of trippy, provocative videos that also pushed the envelope, they couldn’t have asked for any more from their Mother Monster.

Frequent musical collaborator producer Fernando Garibay said the recognition from the Recording Academy was a nice cherry-topper to a year of hard, hard work. “We worked on this album for so long and it was like our baby so it was more about if the fans would love it; that was the most important thing.,” he told MTV News. “But of course, nominations, yeah, that’s cool.”

The first full-length effort from Gaga since her rise to international stardom, Born This Way allowed the singer to exorcise some demons, comment on her newfound fame and, of course, create the kind of over-the-top tracks that would lend themselves to equally eye-popping live performance.

“This album was the most personal, the amount of detail that went into this record, the amount of passion and emotion from her and the team,” Garibay said. “We all followed her lead on this, on every song … how intense every avenue of making this record was for us, protecting the record, creative, conceptually, every song was a story towards the Born This Way theme.”

The video for the title track took the Best Female Video and Best Video With a Message at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. In a year in which she kept turning heads with ever-more-insane red carpet walks, Gaga fittingly raised the bar further at the show, where she performed and accepted the Female Video Moonman as her male alter ego, Jo Calderone. In between those appearances, Gaga also managed to circle the globe with the Broadway-worthy Monster Ball Tour, on which she brought the new songs to life every night in a spectacle that was the visual equal of her studio experiments.

Though she worked with her core team, which includes Garibay, producer RedOne and DJ White Shadow, Gaga also opened the doors to collaborations with late Bruce Springsteen saxophonist Clarence Clemons and classic rock producer Robert “Mutt” Lange and Queen guitarist Brian May, who helped give “Yoü and I” its epic, AM radio majesty.

Gaga was so excited to record the album that she insisted on having a portable studio with her at all times to work on new music even as she toured the world for The Fame Monster, RedOne said. The road work paid off, as the album has sold more than 8 million copies worldwide, spinning off a bevy of hits, including the title track, “Marry the Night,” “Judas,” “Yoü and I” and “The Edge of Glory.”

And though he’s been there before, RedOne added that getting another nod for the biggest Grammy honor of all is new every time. “It’s an amazing thing to be nominated for the biggest thing in music industry,” he said. “It’s always a big honor. I get happy and I never want to get used to it.”

Michael Fassbender continues his domination of Hollywood by landing a role in Ridley Scott’s upcoming Cormac McCarthy movie. Meanwhile, Paul Walker is set to star in a new Universal thriller, Kathryn Bigelow’s Osama Bin Laden project gets two new cast members and Nick Offerman gets a part in Diablo Cody’s “Lamb of God.”

It’s February 22, and you’re tuning in for today’s casting call.

Michael Fassbender Confirmed For New Ridley Scott Film
It’s no shame that Michael Fassbender has been getting as many new roles as he has been recently. Deadline is reporting that the latest is the Ridley Scott-directed and Cormac McCarthy-written “The Counselor.” Fassbender will play a respected lawyer trying to dabble in the drug trade, but gets sucked down into it similar to “Breaking Bad.”

Paul Walker To Star In “Skyscraper”
Universal Pictures can confirm that Paul Walker will star in the studio’s upcoming action-thriller “Skyscraper.” Based on an original idea by Mike Sobel, Walker will also produce the flick. Up next, though, he is starring in “Fast & Furious 6″ and “Hours.”

Two More Head To Hunt Bin Laden
The cast of Kathryn Bigelow’s untitled Osama Bin Laden drama continues to grow bigger and bigger. Entertainment Weekly reports that two new stars have joined the project. Jennifer Ehle will play a member of the team tasked with targeting Bin Laden, while Nash Edgerton (brother to Joel Edgerton, who is also signed on to the flick) will play a Navy SEAL.

Antje Traue Joins “The Seventh Son”
“Man of Steel” leading lady Antje Traue is the latest star to join the cast of the upcoming Legendary Pictures project “The Seventh Son,” Variety reports. The flick also stars Jeff Bridges, Ben Barnes, Julianne Moore, Kit Harington and Alicia Vikander. Sergei Bodrov directs the project off a script by Matt Greenberg and Chuck Leavitt.

Nick Offerman Heads To Diablo Cody’s “Lamb Of God”
Diablo Cody’s upcoming directorial debut “Lamb of God” just got a big dose of funny. Deadline is reporting that “Parks and Recreation” star Nick Offerman has joined the cast, which also includes Octavia Spencer, Holly Hunter, Russell Brand and Julianne Hough. The flick follows an evangelical woman who denounces God and heads to Las Vegas to attempt to rediscover herself.

Martin Freeman To Star In “Svengali”
Variety has learned that Martin Freeman is set to star in the big screen adaptation of hit YouTube series “Svengali.” Directed by first-timer John Hardwick, it will start production in London next week. “Svengali” follows a small town Welsh man who heads to London to fulfill his dream of becoming a manager for the best band in the world.

In Casting Call, the MTV Movies team rounds up the day’s biggest casting news and offers it up to you on a silver platter. If you’re looking to see which movie your favorite actor has booked next, look no further. Tell us what you think in the comments section and on Twitter!

Game’s pockets are about to become significantly lighter. On Tuesday, a North Carolina appeals court judge ruled that the Documentary MC pay $5 million in damages to five Greensboro police officers upholding a 2006 ruling, according to a report for local North Carolina affiliate My Fox 8.

The suit stems from an October 2005 incident, when Game was arrested at the Four Seasons Town Centre mall in North Carolina. Originally, Game was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct when he went into the mall to sign autographs wearing a mask. Mall security said that the rapper was wearing a full-face Halloween mask and cursing loudly. When Game was asked to leave, he refused and was arrested soon after.

The rapper’s crew filmed the arrest and included an edited portion of it in a DVD titled “Stop Snitchin’, Stop Lyin’,” a documentary-style film Game co-produced. The five officers filed a defamation suit against the rapper in 2006. The suit accused Game and Bungalo Records Inc. (a second producer of the film) of libel and slander, claiming their identities were wrongfully used.

Now, the five arresting officers (Hien Nguyen, Matthew Brown, Ryan Childrey, Romaine Watkins and David Gregory) will receive $1 million each for compensatory damages. The officers are also seeking an additional $10 million in punitive damages, but the appeals court decided a new trial would be set for that particular ruling.

Despite the shocking death of Whitney Houston on Saturday, the biggest stars in music graced the Grammy red carpet Sunday to not only honor the late icon, but also to celebrate one of the biggest nights in music and fashion.

A-list artists brought both subdued, glamorous looks and the typical over-the-top statement-making Grammy styles.

The lady of the night, Adele, sparkled from head to toe on the red carpet in a black Armani gown, showing off a lighter hair color in her first performance since having vocal-cord surgery.

MTV Style picks their best-dressed at the Grammys.

Fellow British artist Jessie J shined on her first Grammy red carpet, turning heads in a gray Julien Macdonald gown. “I just wanted to wear something that I don’t usually wear, which is silver, something long and very heavy,” Jessie told MTV News. “I feel like a disco ball at the event.”

Katy Perry was feeling blue at the Grammys, matching her blue hairstyle to a light-blue, long-sleeved Elie Saab gown. “One of my absolute favorites of the night was Katy Perry,” Celebuzz producer Rachel Maresca told MTV News. “She paired her bold, blue hair with a very light-blue Elie Saab lace gown. She looked stunning, and it’s a more subdued look for her. We don’t always see that out of her, but it is very glamorous.”

Another statement dress belonged to Fergie, who called her Jean Paul Gaultier couture gown her “safe choice,” which it was far from. The vibrant orange lace gown allowed her black bra and panties to see through, but according to Fergie, when Gaultier gives you a custom look, you have to wear it.

“When Jean Paul Gaultier couture gown comes and it’s shipped to you and it fits, you wear it,” Fergie told our own Sway Calloway.

Yet, out of all these amazing artists, it seems the fashion night belonged to Rihanna. Jaws dropped as she worked the carpet in a one-of-a-kind Armani dress that she helped design. With a plunging neckline and a deep halter, this dress hugged every curve to perfection.

Stick with MTV News for all the news on Whitney Houston’s tribute, the Grammy red-carpet fashion, Grammy winners and more until the hangover wears off!
